Jamie Dixon served 16 years as an Airfield Defence Guard in the Royal Australian Air Force, reaching the rank of Sergeant (SGT). He specialised in tracking, thermal drone intelligence operations, field craft and survival, deployed on warlike operations to the Middle East on three occasions, and finished his ADF career as a Combat Survival Instructor.
